Seventh-level fate wizard of Noren Workshop, famed for peering into and manipulating fate trajectories.48 Eldest Senior Brother of Anton Buchanan's line and so Jie Ming's Eldest Senior Uncle, he commands the Void Plane expedition as commander-in-chief and later directs the front-line camp of the coordinated war from its tactical sand table.11142425 He admits to "borrowing momentum" from Jie Ming's fate trajectory, and the whole Sacred Continent expedition turns out to be his scheme to let a half-step eighth-level white mist resume its evolution so he can study the seventh-to-eighth leap.813

A frost-shrouded figure whose pressure is like a polar blizzard, he looks extremely young and near-perfectly handsome, gentle in manner, and keeps a plain book-filled chamber behind a bronze door engraved with star orbits.14 A fate wizard who has also dabbled in spatial knowledge and likely alchemy, he is bound by contract to act in the highest interests of wizard civilization while in command.81114 In the coordinated war he is one of the Workshop's senior decision-makers, in a deep-blue star-patterned robe.24
