| First appearance | Ch9262 |
An advanced civilization of tens of thousands of planes, each ruled by a King in a hive-like array under the Three Great Sovereigns.79 The first advanced civilization to step onto the field in person, it uses the batfolk's world as a springboard and plans to take Jack's plane as an appetizer before an all-out assault on the Central World.4 Against Jie Ming's legions, which it names the "Calamity", it loses the Holy City, then a medium-sized plane with its neighbors, thousands of outer planes and over ten thousand Kings.61011
Overview¶
The Kings' planes are linked by energy conduits and transport networks, and controlled planes carry automatic defense systems.79 Its markets trade slaves of every foreign race for crystal coins, and it enslaves natives with brainstem tentacles.49 Permanent passages between planes cannot be severed at short notice; Kings who kept severable passages cut them and watch.10 It holds portals able to send king-level beings directly.3 A seventh-level creature counts as a regional general to it, not a soldier.10
Structure¶
- Three Great Sovereigns, each commanding legions.78
- Holy Spirit Council: A dozen eighth-level Kings with a hundred seventh-level attendants, dividing conquered worlds.4
- Kings: Tens of thousands, one plane each; a council of over a thousand Kings.7
- Three dark purple core planes.9
- Batfolk auxiliaries and seventh-level constructs.5
Notable members¶
| Member | Role | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| The Three Great Sovereigns | Rulers | Muster every legion against the rift.78 |
| Holy Spirit King | King | Brought across by an eighth-level fallback array; warns that "another one who wants a slice of the cake" has come.13 |
| King of Spreading Fear | King | Blamed by the council for letting the angel and parasite civilizations occupy the Passage World first.7 |
Relations¶
- Holy Spirit Council: Its own ruling body, dividing conquered worlds.4
- Other advanced civilizations: Rivals for the same prize; the King warns them of a new claimant.3
- Angel civilization and parasite civilization: occupy the Passage World first.7
- Humanity of Jack's plane: Target; the division gives the East Continent's defenses a pass and hands the West Continent's insect-men resources to a King.4
- Jie Ming's legions: The "Calamity".10
History¶
- Ch926-928: Summons only a sixth-level elite into Jack's plane after the Northern War Zone lesson; it destroys Anvil Base and dies to the strongest one; a King crosses via the fallback array.21
- Ch930-931: The Council divides Jack's plane; batfolk springboard; a testing fortress outside the Holy City probes Jie Ming's trump cards.45
- Ch932-933: Loses the Holy City and a dozen Kings; survivors surrender or are captured.6
- Ch944-945: A council of a thousand Kings assigns blame; all three Sovereigns' legions muster and suppress the rift with dozens of Kings' mental energy.78
- Ch948: Names the legions the "Calamity"; severable passages cut.10
- Ch950: Loses a medium-sized plane, its neighbors, thousands of outer planes and over ten thousand Kings in one battle.11
