Fire, water, earth and wind are the most fundamental laws of the wizard world, present everywhere, and the cornerstone from which time, space and causality derive. Six of the nine ninth-level wizards hold Four Elements core rules, and Jie Ming's mastery of all four passes one hundred percent after Dao Integration.
What is known
- The most popular rules, with the most researchers and textbooks and a low comprehension threshold; described as the most basic level of law.
- Finer branches such as Deflagration under Flame and Gravity under Earth; every element decomposes into countless laws, so each point of mastery lifts many other laws at once.
- Four Elements origin is the most widely circulated hard currency; a complete fire rule equals a thousand wisps, enough to reach the sixth-level threshold, and is the core material of a seventh-level elemental pool.
- All things are made of the four, so constraining the elements slows physical law itself.
- Commanded directly they still damage information beings, at a low output multiplier.
- Leap Power must be built up from them to be universal; rune-vision study of their differences perfects it.
- Starting point: Felix puts in-depth studies of the four first in Jie Ming's catalog for mastering all the laws.
Fire
- Covers flame, energy, detonation and destruction; Trigram Fire, the release of energy, is its deep essence.
- Branch: Deflagration.
Water
- Attested as a law in its own right.
- Frost Whisper wields ice laws.
Earth
- Cornerstone of matter and gravitation; electromagnetic, strong and weak interactions fall under it; branch: Gravity.
- An Elemental Black Hole devours the elements themselves.
Wind
- Space is built from the wind element and falls under it.

Interactions
- Time law, spatial law and causality: Trace back to the four; Jie Ming's time thread is nearly twice the thickness of his elemental threads before he buys plane origin.
- Return to Ruins Concept: Resembles the laws of the abyss and of annihilation and cannot avoid space.
Open questions
- Whether Crimson Flame's fire laws and Frost Whisper's ice laws are the basic laws or their finer branches.
