Arcs¶
A. Elosia trial I: advancement and the camp (Ch101-108)¶
- Chapter 101 picks up mid-conversation from Ch100, with Jie Ming, Amy and Victor explaining Extraction Technique while trekking to the wizard camp.2
- Jie Ming advances to first-level wizard in the wild.2
- The Elosian gods' council counters the infiltrating apprentices with a plane-wide adventurer bounty.3
- The trio reach the frontline wizard camp and learn they are barred from the mission system.1
- They buy intelligence from Amy's senior Viola with Jie Ming's self-made Purple Qi potion.4
B. Elosia trial II: the Blood Angel (Ch109-114)¶
- A mine lead sourced from Viola turns out to be a native trap, first a second-level demon elder and then a third-level Blood Angel.5
- Jie Ming pins the Blood Angel with a shield and a ring of thousands of Talisman-Rune Artifacts, the "Grand Radiance".6
- He kills the Blood Angel and flattens a mountain.7
- He tops the contribution leaderboard.7
- Amy and Victor admit they cannot keep up and stay behind to run the intelligence network.8
- Jie Ming walks out of the camp alone.8
C. Augusta interlude + Golden Harbor infiltration (Ch115-121)¶
- Augusta's solo showcase, using Electromagnetic Control, earns her third place on the leaderboard.9
- Jie Ming kills an adventurer and takes his face as "Jack".10
- He cows the Golden Harbor underworld and buys Dawn Manor.10
- He builds a spatially expanded lab and starts harvesting Mortal Dust and Hundred Flowers Dew.10
- He researches the divine faith network for two months.11
D. Fall of Golden Harbor and the convoy (Ch122-129)¶
- Orcs sack Golden Harbor.12
- Jie Ming slaughters the raiders and is hired by the surviving nobles as escort.13
- He carves through wolf cavalry.14
- He hears rumors that David died.15
- He engineers a fake "traitor" scare himself so that the capital will take him for a disposable orc spy.16
- He arrives in Elosia City with a hollow "Special Advisor" title.17
E. The capital: four wizards and the faith contamination (Ch130-137)¶
- In Elosia City, Jie Ming detects three "anomalous" delegation leaders and the Sage's disciple Reece.18
- He finds underground rune arrays.19
- The five infiltrators (Jie Ming, Seraphina, Kaelern, Anya and Rex) meet in the sewers.20
- They fire the arrays, contaminating the plane's faith hub.21
- The high-level wizards tear the sky and bag every deity and angel.22
- The trial is ended early and the apprentices are ordered back to the camp.22
F. Trial aftermath (Ch138-140)¶
- On the camp leaderboard, Jie Ming is first and David is second.24
- David is revealed to be Reece, and he and the Sage decapitated all mortal leaders.24
- "Kaiden" was Augusta.24
- David trades research notes for Jie Ming housing Sage-selected natives.23
- Jie Ming picks Golden Harbor as his territory.25
G. Golden Garden and graduation (Ch141-147)¶
- Tens of thousands of modified natives turn Golden Harbor into the "Golden Garden", a Mortal Dust and Flower God baleful qi farm.26
- Jie Ming grasps why Talisman-Rune Artifacts are "numerical monsters".27
- Amy and Victor announce a new academy on Elosia.28
- Clark awards Jie Ming first pick of a plane, and he steeps his mirror and soul in Mortal Dust Qi.29
- At the graduation ceremony he receives the first-level wizard badge and robe.30
- The demon plane "Infernal Sulfur" is handed over to him.30
H. Infernal Sulfur, body refining, Mortal Dust Potion, new spell (Ch148-162)¶
- Jie Ming makes his first survey of the Infernal Sulfur Plane.31
- He needs a seventh-level elemental pool that he cannot afford.32
- He invents the Mortal Dust Potion, which stuns Clark.32
- He learns body cultivation and spars with a Flame Lord for a year or more.33
- He builds a gravity chamber and the Mysterious Astral Mortal Dust Barrier, reforges the Five Aggregates Rainbow Mirror, and builds Autonomous Floating Cannons.34
- Clark's manuscripts and dinner lead into Jie Ming's self-born spell, "All-Purpose Eye".35
- The Mortal Dust Qi yield collapses because wizard rule turns a "society" into a "farm", so Jie Ming volunteers for a plane war to find a new, unconquered society.36
I. The Junction and mobilization (Ch163-167)¶
- Jie Ming registers at the three-faction Junction and is mobbed by Tower of Annihilation wizards over his All-Purpose Eye.37
- Clark makes him a Substitute Death Doll and a spare body stored in Clark's private plane.38
- At the assembly, Jie Ming sees unrestrained fifth- and sixth-level wizards for the first time.39
- The force departs on the "ship" plane.40
- The target plane has two sixth-level natives.40
J. Flame-Frost Plane: landing and the first campaign (Ch168-178)¶
- Lava giants (Blazing Sun Realm, King Karamos) and snow monsters (Frostshadow Realm, King Agron), hereditary enemies, both mobilize.41
- Chaotic time flow means the landing zone is already full.42
- Jie Ming produces a lava-giant weakness report as logistics work.43
- The natives counterattack, and the wizards' restrained "targeted destructive spell" beam evaporates ten million lava giants.44
- In the pursuit battle, Jie Ming's floating cannons and sonic suppression make him a "human fortress".45
- He discovers that wizards squabbling over spoils do emit Mortal Dust Qi.46
- Ch178 "One Year" brings a stalemate, finished spell-downgrade tasks, and a geological conjecture that the border has historically swung 80% or more.47
K. Blazing Sun Realm infiltration and the cavern battle (Ch179-191)¶
- Jie Ming tunnels into a lava-giant lair and wipes out a stronghold.48
- He teams with three combat wizards and finds a "plantation", learning that lava giants cannot supply Mortal Dust Qi.49
- Exposure triggers the five-part Cavern Battle against two third-level lava giants, including a Prophet variant.50
- The group finds a second-level incubation pool.51
- The second-level ally betrays them with a forbidden-magic field, and Jie Ming kills him bare-handed.52
- Jie Ming dissolves both corpses in the pool and keeps it, and Viola, who watched, approves.53
- Back at camp, he reaches the middle stage of Foundation Establishment and begins Frostshadow research.54
L. Frostshadow Realm raid and the Sea of Baleful Qi (Ch192-200)¶
- In Ch192 "One Year", the geological theory is confirmed, Augustine requests reinforcements, and Jie Ming finishes his snow-monster dissections.55
- In the Frostshadow Realm, every high-level snow monster has vanished to a "summons".56
- Viola confirms that the lava giants' high-level units have vanished as well.57
- Jie Ming razes a leaderless snow-monster city with a sixth-level elemental pool heat wave.58
- He finds yin baleful qi, blasts a pit more than 10 km deep, and discovers a plane-shaking Sea of Baleful Qi far too vast for any war relic.59
- Ch199 is an interlude from Viola's point of view, titled "The Witch of Pain".60
- Jie Ming flees and reseals the Sea of Baleful Qi.61
- Clark warns that the ship plane is leaving for about 10 local years, and Jie Ming and Viola decide to stay.61
