Tentacle Tree Civilization¶
| Kind | Sixth-level technological civilization 12 |
| Leader(s) | |
| Base | Seventh Resettlement Zone, Infernal Sulfur Plane 14 |
| First appearance | Ch6841 |
A sixth-level technological civilization of tens of billions that once ruled a universe-type plane of about five hundred billion stars.71214 Conquered by Jie Ming's Black Giant legion, it now sits on the second level of his power structure as a resource-type servant civilization and faith source.51214
Overview¶
Tentacle Trees and plant-people multiply quickly but struggle to reach high combat levels.35 The civilization leapt from industrial to spacefaring by reverse-engineering a Divine Armament and keeps hunting more; sixteen coordinates are known.911 Its technology sits a little below average for a sixth-level civilization, but its quantum entanglement communication surpasses many seventh-level civilizations, and its energy scale matches the wizard system through the fifth level.39 It classifies worlds by a manual and conquers those rated primitive; conquered races stay unassimilated, some kept in zoo-like reserves.178 Under Jie Ming its fleets, factories and researchers serve his wars and projects, and its officials call him Sovereign.192325
Structure¶
- Court Council: Governing body; achievements carved in the Main Trunk Hall.1
- Four core planets: Homeworld, first colonial capital, military R&D hub and seat of the Supreme Academy of Sciences.10
- Great governors with private armies, blockading one another.711
- Fleet: Border fleet of several hundred ships, trillion-scale main fleet, flagship-class teleportation, layered self-destruct systems, World Penetration Protocol for punching through plane barriers.23467
- After conquest: Officials replaced by artificial trees; a new generation schooled by the administrative network; researchers placed under Black Giant priests; automated factories replace lost warships.12162830

| Luli | Surrender figure | Acceptance makes the civilization Jie Ming's subordinate; broadcast prompts colony-by-colony surrender.1112 |
| Hadar | Researcher | Works in Jie Ming's research park; leads the ongoing research project and the eighth-level robot study.263133 |

History¶

- Ch700-704: Last elite fleet destroyed in homeworld orbit; homeworld sacrificed; colonies surrender after Luli's broadcast with under five percent loss; last three leaders die.101213
- Ch709-735: Resettled on the Infernal Sulfur Plane; experts join the Divine Armament research group; reverse analysis completed, reaching the sixth-level ceiling in energy and shields; colonies relocated.14151718
- Ch748-761: Over ten thousand upgraded warships support Viola's conquest, take over settlements and dragnet the plane.192022
- Ch765-785: Artisans build the Creation System's supports; researchers share rune work; migration planets moved around the first array eye.232425
- Ch846-857: Over a million warships back the black giants against the mushroom-men, with losses replaced by factories.272930
- Ch894-973: Fleet kept from the Wonder as too weak; serves as removal crew in the forbidden zone; drained by the Holy Spirit campaign; researchers among the first Leap Power test subjects.32343637
