Chapters 501-600

The Noren Workshop and the Chaos Secret Cult plus the Tower of Annihilation are at the mid-point of their wizard war, and Jie Ming has just killed the sixth-level Annihilation Hand with his Substitute Death Doll at the cost of more than 60% of his soul.

Arcs

A. Flight, Recovery and the Holy Son (Ch501-510)

  • Jie Ming, with his soul shattered, flees for ten days toward the Noren Workshop line.1
  • Cornered by the Chaos Secret Cult's elite Holy Son and his four witches, he annihilates them with fifty Black Giant priests.2
  • He collapses and is rescued by Viola and Clark.3
  • In the treatment room he learns that the Holy Son he swatted was a famous elite.4
  • He also learns that Annihilation Hand was a top sixth-level wizard.5
  • His soul rebuilds stronger than before through the Body Forging Method, and two payment techniques give him the final piece of his combat system.6
  • He takes a new reconnaissance mission with Bill, and the war is still on.7

B. The Hunt and the Duel with Illusion (Ch511-527)

  • Jie Ming and Bill conduct reconnaissance behind enemy lines, and Jie Ming kills a hidden soul-wizard watcher and an ambush squad.8
  • The kills draw out Illusion, a sixth-level Tower of Annihilation wizard who wields the [Fictional] Law that defines results.9
  • In a long attrition duel, Jie Ming loses and regrows arms until his body adapts.10

C. The Trump Cards and the Decisive Battle (Ch528-536)

  • Intelligence reveals that the Tower of Annihilation's trump card is a two-trillion-ton antimatter sphere.15
  • The Chaos Secret Cult's trump card is a torrent of plane death.18
  • Both sides recall everyone and launch the final battle.16
  • The antimatter tide nearly breaks Noren's camp.17
  • A flashback two days earlier reveals Clark's plan to awaken the dead battlefield plane and merge with it, projecting near-eighth-level power.19
  • Clark freezes both trump cards and feeds Noren and Anton Buchanan the advantage.20
  • Annihilation and the Cult Leader concede, Felix confirms the contract, and the Noren Workshop is declared victorious.21

D. War Epilogue (Ch537-538)

  • The battlefield plane collapses, and back on the Infernal Sulfur Plane Jie Ming counts the dead: one million Black Giants are down to about 10,000 and Rock Hammer is dead.22
  • Molten Mountain is now seventh-level, and Jie Ming's body and mental energy are at sixth-level standard.22
  • Jie Ming concludes his knowledge is too poor to improve the Light God Transformation and writes "Study."22
  • In enemy point of view, the Tower of Annihilation and the Chaos Secret Cult strip-mine their planes before the one-year eviction deadline.23

E. Els Plane Occupation and the Study Interlude (Ch539-548)

  • One year later, Jie Ming and David take over the Chaos Secret Cult's former Els plane and its kneeling, temple-bound population.24
  • They decide to let the natives rebuild their own cities.25
  • Twenty-seven years on, David thanks Jie Ming for staying.26
  • After fifty years in all, Jie Ming is home on the Infernal Sulfur Plane and picks biological modification as his study path.27
  • He modifies the Nest on the sickle-skull-clan model, learns time magic, buys Fate Law crystals and starts the Fate Subsystem.28
  • Forty years later, Clark tips him off about a special plane war in five years.29
  • After preparations, the Fate Subsystem closes its loop, and Jie Ming departs with 500 priests and Molten Mountain for the Information Plane.30

F. The Information Plane War (Ch549-577)

  • Under the eighth-level Martin, called Ashheart, the expeditionary force faces information beings that silence wizards.31
  • The force builds a shared computing altar, and Jie Ming learns to move by matching information structure and kills a native.32
  • He discovers that Imaginary-type materials such as Mortal Dust Qi, Incense Fire Poison and pain data hurt the information beings.33
  • He designs two spells and scores the first true kill, which yields a blue core and triggers all-out war.34
  • The conflict brings silenced-state wizards, a lockdown, the Entropy Brains and the Information Plague network virus.35
  • The enemy's counter-weapon Silent Abyss follows, along with Martin's gray flames and the absolute-zero wall.36
  • Jie Ming rebuilds the Light God Transformation with Martin's entropy flame into the Annihilation Form and breaks the wall.37
  • He is nearly erased by the highest consensus algorithm and comprehends the Dao under duress.38
  • He exposes the beings' plan to trigger the wizards' own contract backlash, and they surrender and become a subordinate race.39

G. Information Plane Aftermath (Ch578-579)

  • Ten-odd years later, Jie Ming has run the silence awakening project and decides to leave.40
  • Back home, he takes inventory of his gains, including more than 500 Entropy Brains.41
  • The Annihilation Form is an absolute trump card with a ten-second wind-up and a three-to-five-second duration.41

H. Research Interlude (Ch580-590)

  • The Alchemy Technique nears a breakthrough.42
  • Jie Ming studies the Dao Soldier System and the Longevity Pill together.43
  • Fifty years later, the Longevity Pill is refined and the Alchemy Technique creates unstable flesh.44
  • A moon is bought for the Infernal Sulfur Plane to harvest moonlight essence.45

  • At Noren Academy No. 147, a prodigy apprentice, Yarlin, is vetted and approved for a Level-Two Cultivation Protocol.47

I. The Gathering (Ch591-600)

  • Five years later, all four major powers assemble because Avery Knight's spoils from the Demon God of Destruction affair revealed a parallel wizard civilization.50
  • The group travels to the rift and undergoes mental-pressure training.51
  • At the banquet, Jie Ming and Viola discover Clark's secret romance with Kastilla of the Crimson Court and get thrashed for staging a matchmaking stunt.52
  • They make contact with the deformed, war-ravaged parallel wizards.53
  • Negotiation yields a civilization fusion plan in which counterparts duel and the losers sign as research assistants.54
  • Months of duels follow, and an eighth-level duel ends with a handshake.55
