Kind Academy 24
Leader(s)
  • Dean Avery Knight 11
Base Noren Plane No. 147 22
First appearance Ch1441

A Noren Workshop academy founded as its outpost for expansion and talent cultivation, with trial survivors expected to be its first mentors.1 From a first intake of under three hundred it has grown to about a thousand wizards of third level and above, with several dozen at the sixth level.51324 Jie Ming, Viola and Augusta hold mentor posts and rotate its garrison.3424

Overview

The academy opened ten years after native Elosians with wizard aptitude began to emerge and enrolled its first native class, with results that were poor at the first graduation trial.26 Founded late with a shallower foundation than old academies, it long lacked sixth-level wizards and tagged along on other academies' graduation planes.1317 By the academy meeting of over a thousand wizards the lowest present are fourth level, where at founding nearly all were first and second level.24 It now draws children from several hundred subordinate planes and prepares a resettlement plane for Jack's-plane humans with a clear assessment-based path upward.2633

Structure

  • Dean, vice-dean and department heads; the latter two manage during the Dean's centuries away.30
  • Disciplines: Alchemy, potioncraft, runecraft and energy configuration, soul studies, combat and logistics.345142527
  • Five-yearly enrollment with elemental affinity and aptitude testing.26
  • Graduation trials on planes from the dean's collection or donated by an early mentor.617
  • Prodigy meeting of thirty to forty fifth-level wizards, chaired by its two strongest sixth-levels after the Dean; the Level-Two Cultivation Protocol for its first true prodigy.1718
  • Mentor benefits: Elites released from teaching keep long-leave benefits.911
  • Facilities: Star-sand gate, plaza teleportation point, circular conference hall with an express channel to the ship-plane, an engineering-grade teleportation array, a live combat training area that simulates a full stellar system, and a new admissions hub.51215232832
